Our Story

Future Stars Education is Alternative Provision  founded with a passion for football and a commitment to transforming the lives of young people. Drawing on our experience as ex-professional footballers, we have created a unique offsite provision that combines the power of sport with tailored educational support, helping children achieve their potential both on and off the pitch.

During our careers, we played at the highest levels of football, representing clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool FC, Swansea City, Wrexham, Fleetwood Town, Stevenage, Northampton Town, Newport County, York City, Macclesfield Town, and Bury FC, as well as England U19, England U20, D.R Congo U18. These experiences instilled in us a deep understanding of the game and the life skills it teaches such as discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership.

After retiring from professional football, we transitioned into roles within education and care, where we discovered the profound impact we could have on young lives. With years of experience working in SEMH and SEND schools, PRUs and residential care homes. We recognised a need for an innovative programme that combines sport and education to engage and inspire children who may struggle in traditional school settings.

Our programme is designed to meet the needs of children with SEND, SEMH, or mainstream requirements. By offering professional-level football coaching alongside NCFE qualifications in sport and Functional Skills in English and Maths, we provide students with a pathway to academic success and personal growth.

We aim to deliver high-level football sessions, drawing on our experience of professionalism, to instil discipline and inspire excellence. Leveraging the contacts we’ve made throughout our careers, we also plan to bring special guests to meet our students and organise visits to professional training grounds, offering them a glimpse into the world of elite football.

Through our unique approach, we help students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and prepare for brighter futures.
