Safeguarding policy

 At Future Stars Education, safeguarding is at the core of everything we do. We are fully committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every young person feels valued, protected, and empowered to succeed.

We take our responsibility for the welfare of children and young people seriously. Our safeguarding measures are designed to ensure that all participants in our programme are safe, respected, and cared for at all times.

• Manual Review of EHCPs: We manually review each student’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure their specific needs are understood and appropriately addressed.
• Dual Safeguarding Leads: Both founders are trained safeguarding leads, ensuring every aspect of our programme prioritises student welfare.
• Team Teach and First Aid Training: Our team is Team Teach trained, enabling us to manage challenging behaviour safely and effectively, and certified in first aid to respond to emergencies.
• Risk Assessments: Comprehensive risk assessments are conducted for all the locations we use. These assessments are available to schools and parents upon request for full transparency and reassurance.
• Inclusivity and Respect: We foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, celebrating diversity and ensuring every child feels valued.
• Open Communication: Clear and open communication channels are in place to allow students, parents, and staff to share any concerns without hesitation.
